Hydronic heating systems use heated water as a transfer medium to provide whole home heating and have been the leading
choice in Europe for almost a century. Distinguishing itself from competing systems, hydronic heating offers unrivalled warmth,
comfort, control and flexibility. Operating through the use of a two pipe closed system consisting of a central boiler
and satellite radiator panels, conveniently placed throughout the home, hydronic heating efficiently provides clean and natural
heat. It does so by pumping hot water throughout the home in concealed pipes to radiator panels, convectors or floor coils
heating the home and occupants through natural convection and radiation.
How does it
work? Hydronic heating systems consist of five main components:
1.The systems
boiler, usually gas fired and located in a convenient part of the home (usually externally), heats water up to a controlled
temperature 2. Piping connected to the boiler carries the heated water from the boiler to an outlet (radiator panel or
floor coils) and back to the boiler for reheating and recirculation through the system 3. A pump is used to maintain
the circulation of hot water through the system 4. I. Radiators located throughout the home release heat into the surrounding
environment heating your home efficiently, quietly and comfortably II. Floor coils within the concrete slab are heated,
warming the slab and releasing heat into the environment. 5. A programmable digital thermostat allows you to control
the temperature of your home and set heating cycles specific to your lifestyle

Benefits/Features
- Safe
The panels are safe to touch though they are warmed to around 65 celcius they will not burn any objects that come in contact,
especially little hands, or beloved pets.
Healthier unlike ducted heating
dirt, dust, pet dander ,odour, Spores, and other debris is not circulated around the home. creating a healthier, cleaner breathing
and living environment. Economical Compared to other systems, hydronic heating
cost around 30% less a year to operate. Life span Compared to other systems
such as ducted heating, hydronic heating has a longer life span Comfort
Even heating no cold spots or drafts. Low Maintenance The systems boiler
requires servicing annually. Control Hydronic heating allows for the
individual control of heating in rooms throughout the home allowing you to create tailored thermal zones, saving money and
reducing your carbon footprint.
Radiators We use and stand by de’longhi,
made in Italy it is the only radiator in Australia with a 15 year guarantee.
Boilers We recommend Sime 34e boilers. Wall mounted and made in Italy with a purpose built external casing is for the use hydronics
only. Sime also have a range of combination and casket iron floor mounted boilers.
FAQ
Does the system require servicing?
Yes, on occasion your system
may require rebalancing and/or bleeding (removal of air bubbles) to ensure optimal performance of your system. We also recommend
you have your boiler serviced annually.
Am I covered by warranty?
Yes, all of the components of your system, except pipes and fittings, are covered by a manufacturers warranty.
How much energy does the system use?
Energy usage is dependent on the
size of the system and usage; however typically hyronic heating systems use 30% less energy that ducted heating systems.
